Albert Adams has been a professional truck driver for 38 years and has accumulated over 4 million accident-free miles. He is a relay driver for Roadway.

Several days each month, he speaks to the news media, schools, community groups, and industry and government officials about highway safety and the essentiality of the trucking industry.

Al has been active in the Ohio State Truck Driving Championships since 2006. He was named Driver of the Year in 2003 by the Ohio Trucking Association. Al has also received the 30 Year Safety Award and the Roadway 3,000,000 Accident-Free Miles Award. He is a member of the Roadway Road Team and the Roadway Injury Prevention Safety Council. Al is both a Hazmat and a Smith System Trainer for his company.

He is a member of the Highway Watch® program.

Al and his wife, Evelyn, reside in Berlin Center, OH. They have two children and two grandchildren.
